The Quran also explicitly prohibits any form of sexual relations outside the marriage of a man and a woman. The story of the people of Prophet Lut (Lot) is mentioned in several places in the Quran, but the most detailed account is found in Surah Hud, which is the 11th chapter of the Quran. Euthanasia is the act of intentionally ending the life of a person who is suffering from a terminal illness or unbearable pain, often through the administration of lethal drugs. It is also referred to as assisted dying or mercy killing. Euthanasia can be voluntary, where the person who wishes to die makes a conscious decision to end their life, or non-voluntary, where a decision is made on behalf of a person who is unable to express their wishes, such as a person in a coma or with severe dementia.
