In the Name of Allah---the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. The concept of Shaytan is central to Islamic theology, and it is mentioned numerous times in the Quran, the holy book of Islam. Shaytan is considered a creation of Allah, made from smokeless fire, and is inherently disobedient to God. The term Shaytan is derived from the Arabic root “sh-t-n,” which means to be far from or to be in enmity. Key aspects of the concept of Shaytan in Islam include: Rebellion and Disobedience:  Shaytan is known for his disobedience to Allah.
