The Qur’anic Chronology of Creation

Image
Exploring the Qur’anic Chronology of Creation reveals a profound perspective on how our universe transformed from a single point into the complex world we live in today. While modern science focuses on the "how," the Qur’an describes creation in meaningful stages that highlight the purpose behind the heavens and the earth. This layered journey moves from the initial act of creation to the detailed shaping of the stars, planets, and life, finally culminating in the appearance of human beings. In this article, we break down these stages to show how the Qur’an presents a beautifully coherent and purposeful vision of the universe. 1. Chronology of Creation Allah Almighty says in Surah Fussilat: 9.

LGBT Pride

In the Name of Allah---the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

LGBT Pride

The same-sex relationship was considered a crime in the USA, just 42 years ago, and now has
turned into pride. In States, June is celebrated as LGBT Pride Month today. It is
really an awful fable ‘how a crime became a pride?’

The Bible clearly forbids same-sex relationships (homosexuality). Chapters
18 and 20 of Leviticus form part of the Holiness code and
list prohibited forms of intercourse, including the
following verses:

·
“You shall not lie with a male as with a
woman; it is an abomination.” Chapter 18 verse 22

·
“If a man lies with a male as with a
woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to
death; their blood is upon them.” Chapter 20 verse 13

Even homosexualism was remembered with the
name of Sodomy, referring to the destruction of Sodom by the Almighty God, due
to the loathsome act of homosexuality.

By 1969, the Stonewall Inn (now a national monument) was one of the
most popular gay bars in New York City. Throughout the state, homosexuality was
considered a criminal offense, and it would take over a decade of organizing
before “same-sex relationships” were legalized in 1980 (New York v.
Onofre).
[1]

What happened to western society? Why did they jump from a criminal offense to a legalized act in just one decade?

In our humble opinion,
it was the response of the western society to the call of Open Society, that
was first raised by the French philosopher Henri Bergson.

One may differ with us, but they can’t deny the fact that the uprising demand for the freedom for individuals, in the name of ‘privacy’ paved
the way to change a criminal offense into pride. Hundreds of books and papers
were published to advocate individual freedom, as well as same-sex
relationships. Open debates were arranged on electronic media to change the mind
of the people who loved to avoid homosexuality. Even homosexuality was declared
a fundamental right of a homosexual couple. Now June is celebrated as LGBT
(Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) Pride Month all over the world. The Story
begins with the rights of transgender and ends with the rights of lesbians and
gays. Same projects have been launched in Muslim countries in the name of
transgender rights. Are we ready to see our youngsters be LGBT? If we aren’t,
then, what are we doing to protect our children from being LGBT?

Islam
strictly condemns same-sex relationships. Sodomy (homosexuality) has been
strongly criticized in the 11th chapter of the Qur’an. For this evil
practice, the people of Sodom were punished by Almighty God. As the Qur’an
narrates:

“So
when Our commandment came, We made the highest part [of Sodom] its lowest and rained
upon them stones of hard clay in succession.”

 [Quran: 11:82]
